of Kathmandu, at Lazimpat. It has its own
complex and is housed in a well palnned,

Nepal Education Foundation (NEF) was established
in 1996 by a group of like-minded, experienced
educationists, deeply committed to the cause
of promoting quality education in the country.
The educationists as well as the entrepreneurs,
who are promoting the educational institutions

these institutions, centres of excellence,

NEF umbrella there are currently three colleges:
Xavier Academy, Lazimpat, Bhanubhakta Memoral

Academic
Programmes
Xavier academy has been offering
10+2 programme affiliated to the Higher
secondary education board (HSEB) presently
the programme is offered in Science and
Commerce streams. The 10+2 programme commences
from July.
Xavier academy also offers B.B.S Programme
of Tribhuwan University at the Graduate
level.
Admission
Students need to complete the form
and submit it along with copies of transcripts
and photographs; Eligible students will
need to sit for an Entrance Examination.
Admission to Class XI will be based on the
aggregate SLC and Entrance examination score
and performance during the entrance interview.
Eligibility
for Admission
To qualify for the 10+2 programme
in Science, the candidate should have passed
the SLC (recent) or an equivalent examination
under a recognized Board in First Division
with a minimum combined score of 200 in
science, Compulsory Mathematics and English.
Optional Math should also be a subject taken
by the students during SLC Examination.
To qualify for the 10+2 programme in Commerce,
the candidates should have passed the SLC
(recent) or an equivalent examination under
a recognized Board in First division with
a minimum combined score of 120 in Compulsory
Mathematics and English.

Extra-curricular
Programmes
Xavier academy aims for total personality
development of students. It thus conducts
numerous extra curricular activities in
the college. There is a balance between
sporting and non sporting activities. These
are however not allowed to adversely affect
the academic programme of the institution.
Students are also exposed to inter-college
activities.
Fees
Xavier academy has a very competitive
fee structure, fully justified by the service
it provides. A system for discounts for
bulk payment and fines for non-payment is

Xavier academy has various ongoing
