National Open
College(NOC), established in 2000 by a group of academic
devotees and professionals having spent decades in
teaching expedition, is a pioneer college-cum-Higher
Secondary School. NOC always strives to continue introducing
virgin experts and scholars keeping in view of the
present and future national and international assessment
for ever-changing and competitive job market.
In this connection,
NOC is the first college in the country to offer three
programs in the field of Health Care Management from
Bachelor to Master’s degree. It also offers: Business
Administration (Bachelor's degree) and Higher Secondary
education in 3 streams.
NOC has offered +2
curriculums in Science, Commerce, and Humanities.
Students’ academic need and aspirations, apart from
perpetual personal care for high level of academic
achievement, disciplinary and attitudinal excellence
toward civic responsibilities, are on high priority
at NOC.

Open College is situated at Balkhu - Sanepa Ring Road,
Lalitpur. Though it is at the heart of the valley,
it is completely free from pollution of the city.
Its serene environment is conducive and hygienic for
students to study.

NOC

result. Extensive use of computer assisted teaching,
overhead projectors (OHP) and audio-visual aids,
project works, group works, research works, library
projects, field visit, placement job training, etc.
are major features of this college. Moreover, NOC
has successfully maintained student-centred learning
environment in English medium. Therefore, NOC is
the best choice for students because their future
prosperity and career solely depend upon the right
choice of education center. Besides those an extensive
quality improvement (QIP) has been practised. Appreciative
inquiry approache in education has been practised
since last year as a tool of QIP.
