I beleive that the first duty of a university is to
teach wisdom, not trade; character not technicalities.
According to Steven Muller, "Universities are
training out highly skilled barbarians because we
don't provide a framework of values to young people,
who move and move searching for it."
Finally, I owe an enormous gratitude to many different
personalities for helping us create DAV college of
Management. For us creating educational institutions
is a challenging and stimulating activity that brings
with it variety of rewards.

HIGHER SECONDARY LEVEL (+2) PROGRAM |
| |
Affiliation with HSEB BOARD
To prepare students for higher education and to enable
our future citizens to cope with the emerging needs
of the 21st century, Nepal has adopted a system of
12 year school education. For this, Hisher Secondary
Education Board (HSEB) was established and it implemented
the new improved curriculum the intends to equip the
students with the necessary skills and knowledge in
the level. The pattern of the HSEB requires students
to have mastery over the whole course without giving
chances for selection. HSEB has set 35% as the minimum
marks which inheritates the British colonial system
that was introduced in our neighbouring country India
long back.
To get the affiliation with such a board, DAV College
feels proud for being a part of the team who are there
for the development of higher secondary education
in Nepal.
The HSEB prescribed curricula are follwed in the +2
levels in DAV. At this level the courses are diversified
in such manner as to enable students to specialize
in a specific stream with considerable freedom and
elasticity. The +2 course provides the students with
an opportunity and a means to get acquainted with
appropriate vocationalisation.
