Background

Raktakali Education Foundation (REF) is a leading and well-established educational institution in the valley with the motto "Quality in Education". Established in 2037 B.S., it aims to coordinate educational activities and extracurricular activities so that multidimensional personality can be developed on the part of the students. Under the umbrella of REF, different educational wings are running at present:

School, which has been running excellently under REF (2037), is a dynamic educational institution with outstanding academic programs in each of its faculties and is fully accredited.

With a view to producing competent manpower in the filed of Management, Hotel Management, Travel and Tourism and Science and Technology, Brookfield was establish in 1999 under REF. Since its very inception in 2057 (1999), Brookfield remains as an invitation to learning by both theory and practice.

2. MoE Scholarship for Medicine by Miss Kalpana Pudasaini and Miss Sabina Shrestha in 2007, and Miss Nikee Shrestha in 2008.
3. IoE scholarship for Engineering at Pulchowk Engineering College in 2006 by our students: Master Uttam Man Karmacharya, Master Nabin Maharjan, Master Umesh Shah and Prajwal Joshi.
4. Miss Jeena Shrestha, a +2 topper student (commerce, 2005), got Scholarship for Higher Studies at Lewis Clark State University, Idaho, U.S.A.
5. Master Sabin Shrestha and Master Sabin Chaulagai, both BIC +2 Science students, got scholarships for MBBS by MoE and KU respectively in 2005.
6. Master Kapil Khatri, BIC Science student, got IoE scholarship for Engineering at Pulchowk Engineering College in 2005.
7. Miss Sabita Maharjan, BIC Science student, got KU scholarship at Bachelor in Pharmacy in 2004.
8. Master Binod Shrestha, BIC science student, got scholarship for MBBS at KMC in 2005.
9. Board firstposition by master Rupendra Chuladyo in the Board exam (2058) under Science Stream. Mr. Chuladyo is currently studying at Pulchowk Engineering College under full scholarship.
10. Mr. Bibek Malla has been studying MBBS at Manipal Medical College, Pokhara under full scholarship.

Computer Lab             
Each wing has an ultra-modern computer lab with sufficient number of Computers and other accessories. The motive is that the students should be familiar with the modern technological innovation.

Laboratory is sufficiently equipped with necessary science apparatus of various science faculties, viz. physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Life Outside the Classroom
Brookfield conducts a number of extra-curricular activities such as cultural programs, picnics, talent hunts, field visit, etc.

Entry point pleasures

Academic Curricula and Programs

Higher Secondary Education (+2) in Brookfield is widely acclaimed for the excellent success. We offer Commerce, Humanities and Science Streams in the morning and day shifts. The details of the curricula and the academic programs are given below.

Science:  English, Nepali, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science.

Commerce: English, Nepali, Economics, BOOM, Accountancy, Computer Science, Hotel Management, Travel & Tourism and Mathematics.

Humanities: English, Nepali, Sociology and English (Optional), Mass Communication and Travel and Tourism

Maximum seats for Science, Commerce and Humanities are 160, 240 and 40 respectively.
