Annapurna College, located at the heart of Kathmandu in Jyatha, Kantipath, has been imparting a qualitative education since 1995 A.D. The college holds a glorious academic record right from its inception. Annapurna College is a Co-Educational English medium college offering science and management education at an affordable/reasonable price. The college and its staff members believe in the 3 Ds mainly Dicipline, Dedication and Development of personality to achieve an academic excellence. The college guarantees to provide a sound academic environment for all those, who aspire to have standard quality education under the care of high skilled, professional academicians. The college is affiliated to Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) Nepal, and is the plus two wings of Annapurna High School. |

Students services and Counselling |

Admission Criteria:
- The students applying for admission into Plus Two level must have successfully completed SLC or its equivalent from any reputed institution securing at least 45% marks for commerce and 60% marks in science in total aggregate.
- An entrance test will be held to test students' proficiency Admission is taken on merit cum performance in the entrance test.
- Admission forms and prospectus can be abtained from the college reception on payment of Rs. 100/- only.
- Free conselling, who will advise prospective students on the subjects and streams to be selected in the country. Free counseling is also provided to Annapurna Students, who seek to study in U.S.A England or Australia.

Class Room |
| |
Neat and tidy, well-ventilated and well furnished classrooms are provided with ceiling fans for a cool academic atmosphere. The number of students in each class is limited to thirty students so that teachers can give personal attention to every student for their academic progress.

Library |
| |
The library is quite spacious with a wide range of reading materials including a variety of magazines and newspapers. Also, the library has been providing adequate text books and other reference books in all the subjects to every student. The library also provides audio-visual facilities as well as learning modalities.

Sports |
| |
The college provides various sports facilities including indoor & outdoor games, such as badminton, basketball, table tennis, cricket, chess, carom etc. Also competitions are held annually and prizes are distributed to winners. Moreover, the college cricket team is provided with a coach to participate in college and national level competitions.

Extra Curricular Activities |

For an al round development of the personality, students are encouraged to participate in quiz contest, debate festivals, cultural shows, essay competitions, oratory contests, magazine publication, sports and many other extra-curricular activities. Awards will be given for best performance.

Cafeteria |
| |
A self-service cafeteria has been operating in the ground floor, which offers hygienic and clean food at a moderate price. Also pure filtered drinking water is provided for students.

Educational Excursions |
| |
Students are taken out for science excursions every year as an outing, as well as to collect specimens. Similarly study tours to industries are conducted fro management students.

Science Laboratory |
| |
The college boasts of the state of the art well equipped and spacious science laboratories. It has 3 separate science labs: physics/chemistry and biology. In fact, the college has held Science Fairs and Exhibitions several times to exhibit its facilities.

Computer Lab |
| |
Computer technology is a pre-requisite for higher education. The college has a sophisticated computer lab with an adequate number of computers with e-mail and internet access with a computer instructor for academic programming.

Scholarship Scheme |
| |
Taking stock of the nation's social realities as well as poor and talented students the college offers a very good provision of scholarships and awards on the basis of merits as well as need, in order to facilitate students with economic support and smooth trouble free studies.
The college will provide the following Scholarship and Awards to the deserving students.
- 100% scholarship for the top 10 students in the SLC Board Examination.
- 50% scholarship in both admission & tuition fee for the students securing 80% or above marks in aggregate in SLC.
- 50% scholarship in admission fee and 25% in tuition fee for the student securing 75% or above marks in aggregate in SLC.
- 25% scholarship in both admission & tuition fee to SLC passed students from government schools.
- 50% special scholarship will be provided to students on the recommendation of school & university teachers. ( except in tuition fee)
- 50% scholarship for admission fee for underprivileged and disabled students from different remote and regional areas.
- Admission, registration and other fees ( except monthly tuition fee) will be refunded to 3 top students from science faculty and 3 top students from management faculty, who have secured the highest marks in the Board of HSEB in Class XI and XII.
- Last but not the least, any student who has an outstanding academic excellence, may be provided with many attractive scholarships and financial support by Annapurna College management at any level in science and management.
- Note: All scholarships are exclusive of fees required for HSEB.
- One student can claim for only one of the schemes.
- The scholarship schemes will be awarded on first come first serve basis according to available seats.

Announcement Bridge Course after SLC Examination |
| |
Annapurna College has been facilitating the students to bridge the gap between secondary and higher secondary education for S.L.C appeared students .It is commencing from 13th of Baishak 2064.The duration of class hours will two hours. Students have focused this sort of class very fruitfully to enhance their knowledge in different subjects. It includes theoretical and practical classes along with computer classes and a recorded programmer which keeps students in touch with studies before the S.L.C result.
