Methodology

Acme Engineering College is constantly renovating and seeking for innovative methods of teaching in order to achieve excellence in education. Teaching methods at the College vary according to the course of study and aims of the student. For Undergraduate courses, lectures are the basic medium to teaching. These are complemented bye tutorials, seminars, and where appropriate, by laboratory and field study. In all these activities, the emphasis is on interactive exchange between students and staffs.

Students are also encouraged to publish papers and organize the events like seminars, workshops, talk programs etc, which is considerably important to assure the novelty and relevancy of their learning by self exploration.

Acme engineering college offers+2 progamme in science in affiliation with Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB), Nepal. The programme helps fresh S.L.C graduates equip with initial qualifications to secure their future in the field of science and technology. Besides HSEB curriculum, the college has been running extra basic courses on engineering to develop their aptitude in engineering discipline.

Entry Requirement

Prospective students having at least 60% marks in S.L.C examinations are eligible to apply and they are supposed to appear on an entrance test conducted by the college, especially on science, Maths and English.

Financial Assistance/Scholarships

Acme Engineering College offers a numer of scholarships awarded on academic merit, financial need or both. Top 10% students admitted to Acme are provided with scholarship to support their study. Academic and Industrial Linkage

Each of us is committed to providing our students a positive educational experience that will supply them with the skills and knowledge that you need to succeed in the workplace. Great emphasis is placed on developing and maintaining relationship with industrial and commercial sectors to foster close link with industry, commerce and professions, and is constantly reviewing its activities to ensure that what it offers meets the real needs of society. In this connection, the Acme has established an agreement with Polotsk State University, Novopolotsk, Belarus.

Diploma in Civil Engineering (3-Year)

     Acme Engineering College offers Diploma in Civil Engineering in affiliation to CTEVT. The curriculum intends to produce mid level skilled manpower undertaking works in the Civil Engineering field, thereby contributing to national development.

Diploma in Electronics Engineering (3-Year)

     Acme in affiliation to CTECT, coffers Diploma in Electronics Engineering so as to produce technical manpower undertaking works in Electronics engineering fields nationally and internationally. The curriculum intends to provide the students with technical know-how and its applications in the real world from mid-level technicians' perspectives.

Diploma in Computer Engineering (3-Year)

     Acme Engineering College offers Diploma in Computer Engineering in affiliation to CTEVT. The curriculum produces skilled Diploma in Computer Engineering Technicians to work as middle level manpower and to make background knowledge for Bachelor level course. It also helps these people, who are in need of employment and can be self employed, after successful completion of the course.

Entry Requirement

Prospective students, who have passed S.L.C. Examinations with at least 50% marks in aggregate or with at least 68.33% marks in TSLC, can apply. Eligible students must pass entrance Examination conducted by CTEVT. Students who passed the entrance examination conducted by IOE can also get admission.
