Bhanubhakta Memorial College (BMS) established in 1967A.D. has the late national poet, Bhanubhakta Acharya. Thus it has been proven to faithful creation sincerity &selfness dedication of those who saw the golden tomorrow. Ever since the inception of this pioneer in situation it is constantly providing qualitative education in true sense.

The high pass rate and the meritorious distinction level of many students in the SLC Board Examinations is the basis of proof for the dedicated service of the teachers and the staff.

BMS has come a long way since its modest beginning in a rented building. Today it can boast of its own spacious area of 18 ropanies. The lofty buildings for school & college with all the requisite facilities are an example of complete infrastructure. This is the fruit of the trust BMS Successful earned from the parents & the guardians.

At the request of the guardians and the public started the +2 program from 1997 in the field of science and commerce, affiliated to the higher Secondary Education Board (Government Of Nepal). Similarly The College is proud to announce commencement of the Hotel Management from the upcoming Session.

Nepal Education Foundation (NEF) is implementing this higher education program at Bhanubhakta Memorial College (BMC). NEF is a group of experienced educationists, who are deeply, committed the cause of promoting quality education in the country. NEF’s Program of an all-round education of the highest quality aims to develop responsible citizens and a generation of highly motivated and competent work force.

• Classrooms are planned with comfortable seating arrangements. There are a limited number of students in each class.

• Science Laboratories
The higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) designed and equipped the Science Laboratories that include Physics, Chemistry & Biology in three separate spacious halls. Such a rare patronage is a matter of pride for BMC.

• Computer Lab has been included as a regular class in the weekly schedule. Students are provided Email and Internet facilities.

• Library is well equipped with a wide selection of reading and reference materials. In addition to these the relevant books & materials are instantly provided at the request of the students endorsed by the concerned teachers.

• Parent Teacher Meetings are organized on a regular basis. Such method has helped a lot accessing and sorting out the problem of the students, conducive to academic environment.

• Scholarship policy such as, Free ship, Half-free ship and awards and  provided for academically bright and deserving students.

• Transportation is provided to and from the main points.

• Games & Sports are scheduled in weekly routines. Sufficient space for games such as badminton, volleyball, basketball and table tennis etc, are provided.

• First Aid facility is provided for medical care and ordinary treatment in the case or illness in Sick Room such as sickroom, medical care and initial treatment are provided in the case of injury or illness.

• Individual care is our main concern. If a student is very weak in certain subjects she/he will be provided with individual care class provided he/she must show the willingness to learn.

• Personal counseling is provided for those students who are academically weak and who are suffering from family stress as well as mental disturbances.

•Hostel facility is available for the needy boy students.

•Education tour to famous cities of India, concerning science, archeological finding, art and historical centers.

•Counseling cell for aboard study is being set for the willing students. 

• Students who have passed the SLC or equivalent examination from a recognized Board may apply for the admission.
• The eligible candidate has to pass the entrance Examination conducted by the college.
• Preference will be given who has taken optional math in the SLC for science stream and who has taken accountancy for commerce stream.
• All NEF Colleges i.e. Bhanubhakta Memorial College (BMC), Little Angel’s College (LAC) and Xavier Academy (XA) have the common working days and holidays under a common Academic Calendar.
• The New Academic Session begins from 1st July terminates in June.
• Dashain-Tihar and winter vacations are the short breaks just after the Terminal Examinations.
• College will remain closed on Government Holidays*.
